There's no substitute for passion...one thing that I have a lot of. I am passionate about the world around me. I can find something interesting in almost anything be it a puddle, a pylon or ancient landscape. I do not like my photograph being taken, the four above are the rare instances where I actually like what I see in the photograph... and one of those has my face covered. It takes skill to 'see' the real person and capture it in a photograph. I like to catch people unaware, off guard and relaxed - this shows their true nature. Life is just a series of moments... and I fill my memory card up with them. There's not much that I don't miss. I'm a pagan and a biker, so there are many interesting people I meet along the way.
That's me aged about 9 with my little sister Rachael. I was this age when I met a lovely old man called Arthur who showed me how to take pictures on his manual focus SLR. He said that I was snap happy.. very much still true today. I will easily take 800+ pictures at a wedding. Well I wouldn't want to miss anything lol. I was talked out of doing photography when I left school and did a variety of soul-sucking jobs. I decided to go to college to do my City & Guilds 1 & 2 in photography. People liked my pictures and that's how I ended up with Blue Crow Photography.
Bang To Rights
Bang To Rights was born from my love of motorbikes, something else I have been into since I was very young. When you've caught something in the act, when you've nailed it, when you've got them bang to rights... that's my angle. I am involved with some very talented stunters and freelance for a well known bike magazine. Click on picture or page to go to the main site.
